Flexo Tapes

3M™ Cushion-Mount™ tapes are designed for mounting printing plates to the plate cylinder in the flexographic printing process. 3M’s extensive range of flexographic tapes—available in various thicknesses and hardness levels—allows for the selection of the right product for specific applications, even at high printing speeds. Our foam tapes come in several versions, including options with reduced adhesion for easier removal after the job is finished, as well as versions with enhanced plate adhesion designed for printing on small-diameter cylinders. 3M™ Cushion-Mount™ foams feature a system of channels grooved into the adhesive layer, which facilitates application and allows trapped air to escape from beneath the tape.
